Charitable organisation design

Hoathly Hill Trust is a charitable organisation with a small membership. Founded in 1994, the Trust’s vision is to facilitate community and environmental projects. I first joined Hoathly Hill Trust as a member, then a co-founder of a new initiative, as an observer in board meetings and finally as a trustee. I designed a participatory process of review for the organisation. We worked together as a board of trustees and in consultation with the local community to review Trust activities. This review process had excellent results: an increasing of awareness of Trust activities in the local community, a new Strategic Plan together with Action Plans for each of the Trust’s main fields of work, a new website, a new kindergarten business and invitation for new initiatives.
